1986-1995 | American Arbitration Association, Center for Mediation, San Diego, CA Director of Education and Development, 1991-1995 Director of Mediation, 1988-1991 Mediation Coordinator, 1986-1988 During nine year tenure served in a variety of roles in the development and implementation of mediation and other dispute resolutions services on behalf of AAA’s Center for Mediation. Created and implemented several hundred outreach campaigns and educational programs to assist the Center for Mediation develop mediation services in the San Diego legal, business, governmental and nonprofit arenas. As the supervisor of all educational activities, served as a moderator and trainer in numerous mediation and conflict resolution training programs for lawyers, human resource professionals, executives, supervisors and organizational staffs. |

2006 | Diegueno Country School, San Diego, CA Production Manager/Conflict Resolution Specialist, Mid-Summer Night’s Dream Managed the Mid-Summer Night’s Dream production for the Diegueno Country School’s Theatre Department. Responsibilities included: scheduling and facilitating all meetings involving the production; creating and overseeing communication channels and systems; drafting and reviewing contracts; overseeing production finances; creating press releases; and mediating all conflicts between various participants. Additionally, served as the liaison between the professional staff of the Old Globe Theatre and the school, including the play’s director, student actors and parents. |

2009-Present | Secret Santa, San Diego, CA Volunteer Volunteers annually with the Secret Santa Organization to provide needy local families with Christmas gifts they could not otherwise afford due to temporary or ongoing financial hardship. Helps secure donations from local businesses and individuals and organizes students to help clean, decorate and distribute the donated gifts. |
2011-Present | Community Resource Center, San Diego, CA Volunteer, Holiday Gift Baskets Helps the annual charity drive to collect goods and money for needy families throughout San Diego. Volunteer efforts include securing donations for an annual Del Mar Fairgrounds event that provides the opportunity for over 1700 needy families in San Diego to “shop” (at no cost to them) for donated food, clothing, holiday plants and decorations, and toys. |
